I'm Peter, a classically trained British actor and Audiobook Narrator, working from my cosy home studio in rural Bedfordshire. My soft, youthful voice and versatility with characters means I'm well suited to YA Fiction, Fantasy and Children's Books. However, my work covers a wide variety of genres - from Time Travel Sci-fi to Murder Mysteries, as well as Non-Fiction titles.

And when it come to romance and spicier content, I hand things over to

my smoother, suaver alter ego and romantic pseudonym, Hugo Flynn.

Home Studio

I have a small, but very cosy home studio. Fully equipped for high quality professional recording. There's a raw studio sample in my demos (with no EQ or noise reduction) so you can hear the quality of my space and equipment.

Talking tech - I use a Rode NT1 mic, an Audient ID4 interface, Sennheiser studio headphones, Mac hardware, Twisted Wave DAW and iZotope RX Standard.

I'm always happy to provide a short free sample of your book or script, so you can be sure my voice and setup are the right fit for your needs.

I'm a graduate of the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London (3yr diploma). Webber Douglas was one of London's leading drama schools until its merger with the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2006.

As an audiobook narrator I've been coached by award winning narrator Ana Clements,

graduating from her 'Audiobook Industry Program' in early 2024.

I have appeared in numerous stage plays, with leading roles in productions of Jez Butterworth's Mojo (see photo), Flare Path, Copenhagen, Of Mice and Men and Frankenstein - to name just a few.

I have also worked in TV, radio and short films.

Outside the studio, I'm a dedicated follower (and occasional player) of the strange and wonderful sport that is Cricket! I love long walks up big hills, then ending up in the corner of a pub talking movies, music and books - life, the universe and everything!
