Hello there, thanks for dropping by!
I'm Peter, a classically trained British Actor, turned Audiobook Narrator, working from my cosy home studio in rural Bedfordshire. My soft RP accent, warm tone and versatility with character voices make me a great fit for YA Fiction, Fantasy Adventures and Children's Stories for all ages. I love to work across a wide range of genres however - from Time Travel Comedies, Cozy Murder Mysteries and Adrenaline Fuelled Thrillers!
And if its a romantic 'golden retriever' type that you're after, then my smoother, suaver alter ego and romance pseudonym, Hugo Flynn handles anything slightly spicy!

Home Studio
I have a small, but very cosy home studio. Fully equipped for high quality professional recording. There's a raw studio sample in my demos (with no EQ or noise reduction) so you can hear the quality of my space and equipment.
Talking tech - I use a Rode NT1 mic, an Audient ID4 interface, Sennheiser studio headphones, Mac hardware, Twisted Wave DAW and iZotope RX Standard.
I'm always happy to provide a short free sample of your book or script, so you can be sure my voice and setup are the right fit for your needs.
I'm a graduate of the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London (3yr diploma). Webber Douglas was one of London's leading drama schools until its merger with the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2006.
For audiobook narration I've been coached by the amazing Ana Clements,
graduating from her 'Audiobook Industry Program' in early 2024.

I have appeared in numerous stage plays, with leading roles in productions of Jez Butterworth's Mojo (see photo), Flare Path, Copenhagen, Of Mice and Men and Frankenstein - to name just a few.
I have also worked in TV, radio and short films.
Outside the studio, I'm a dedicated follower (and occasional player) of the strange and wonderful sport that is Cricket! I love long walks up big hills, then ending up in the corner of a pub talking movies, music and books - life, the universe and everything!
